Vaco is currently working with a privately held company on a Senior Accountant search. This would be a direct hire role looking to identify candidates immediately. Ideal candidates will have experience working with SAP and 3+ years of experience working in a Senior Accountant role.

As a Senior Accountant your typical day may involve:

• Performing assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing processes
• Assisting in the development of financial statements and reports
• Handle royalty accounting, accruals, and variance analysis
• Manage recording of salaries and benefits expense allocations
• Reviewing and explaining variances to budget/forecast and to previous reporting periods on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations
• Working closely with other functional areas and business management to resolve issues and support achievement of business goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (REQUIRED)
• 3+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant
• Advanced Excel and experience with ERP experience highly preferred
