Looking for skilled, roll-up-your-sleeves senior level accountants!

If you are a senior accountant looking for growth and expanding your skills into a leadership role, Our client has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Accountant located in the North Seattle area.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Must have strong POC knowledge
• Maintain close schedule & timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closes
• Prepare and manage financial statements
• Oversee all accounting (AR, AP, Revenue Recognition)
• Routine reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Preparation of journal entries
• Fixed asset tracking
• Cooperative enforcement and management of internal controls and reporting.
• General ledger analysis - to identify anomalies or areas for improvement
• Ensure accounts reasonably reflect activity and GAAP standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-6 years accounting experience.
• Highly proficient in Excel.
• Background in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong communication skills - able to describe complex accounting transactions and their impact on financial statements.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical accounting skills.
• Self Starter, detailed, well organized, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with a variety of people.
