Job Requirements

One of Vaco's best manufacturing industry clients is looking for a Senior Accountant, which is a newly created role because of continued company growth. This position comes with a base salary of 90k to 110k plus a 10% bonus. Benefits include full medical, dental, vision, other various coverages, and 401k with a generous company match.

The Staff/Senior Accountant will be involved with:

• Performing General ledger corporate accounting duties
• Assisting with the preparation of the quarterly financial statement reports
• Helping with Month End Close duties and projects
• Helping to balance and provide detailed support for around 150 general ledger accounts
• Regulatory reporting and ad hoc reporting
• Helping prepare and coordinate for the annual financial statement audit, including fulfilling data requests and supporting follow up questions.
• Performing monthly corporate bank reconciliation along with researching and resolving items on reconciliation.
• Providing guidance and direction to junior Staff Accountants as needed.

This is a highly visible accounting role with supervisory responsibilities and could turn into a great opportunity for a person with the right mix of technical accounting skills and communication and interpersonal skills.
