Senior Accountant in Boulder, CO at Vaco

Job Description

Vaco has partnered with a Renewable Energy company who is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. We are looking for an ambitious, detail-oriented individual, who is comfortable leading process improvement projects successfully to implementation.

Hybrid schedule 3 days on-site 2 remote
Salary $85K-$105K + bonus DOE

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
• Report analysis and findings to management team

​Qualifications:

• Public accounting experience required. (Regional/Mid-Market firm preferred)
• CPA highly preferred
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Strong understanding of GAAP- Proofing of footnotes (not necessarily drafting)
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
