Job Summary:

This company is looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Accountant to be a part of our team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for collaborating with the accounting team. An ideal candidate is bright and has excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who takes the initiative to follow through. They are self-motivated, well rounded, highly capable, socially responsible, and passionate about the mission of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements for the various divisions and entities within the company
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses to assist Management with strategic matters.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate reporting
  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors
  • Prepare cash flow reports
  • Adhere to best practices and ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years accounting experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to grow and assume more responsibility
  • Able to display initiative & take ownership of problems
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
