Key Responsibilities for Senior Accountant

• Perform general ledger accounting and financial reporting, including monthly close and reconciliation of accounts
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and other financial transactions
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for any material variances
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies, including GAAP and internal controls
• Participate in the preparation of financial statements and other reports for senior management
• Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and initiatives, as needed
• Maintain and update accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Provide support and guidance to junior accountants and other team members

Requirements of Senior Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or related role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
