Senior Fund Accountant

Chicago, IL - Option for remote/hybrid

Fortune 500 company searching for a Fund Accountant for their growing investment group. Qualified candidates will have PE-style fund accounting, investment accounting. Responsibilities:

• Supports Financial statement prep, asset accruals; budgeting / forecasting
• Monitors financial performance
• Supports the daily activities of the treasury, cash management, and accounting function of the fund
• Posts journal entries and money-movement transactions.
• NAV calculations
• Serve as point of contact for investors. Supports preparation of investor capital call/distribution notices.
• Supports preparation of IRR and performance reporting models.
• Providing customer service - walking through questions, providing feedback
• System implementations and special projects
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of investment, fund accounting experience
• Public/private/admin experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is a plus
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player who works well in a changing environment
