The Infrastructure Engineer will assist the Infrastructure Team in designing and maintaining all Server-related IT Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support and administration of our physical and virtual server infrastructure
• Review acquired companies' server infrastructure and develop/execute transition planning to systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise, coordinating with other teams as needed
• Administration of server backups and disaster recovery
• Interface with internal and external customers and vendors
• Review new and existing system designs and make recommendations for improving or altering systems
• Create and update server topology documentation and processes
• Share knowledge with colleagues and junior-level associates
• Track daily work in ticketing system

Required Experience

• Managing and maintaining systems such as Antivirus, Monitoring software, Web Servers, Backup and Recovery software, etc.
• Server Hardware/Storage, SANs
• Server Virtualization
• Active Directory
• Microsoft Exchange
• SQL
• Windows OS (Linux a plus)
• Monitoring Tools (ex. Solarwinds)
  Desired Skills

• In-depth knowledge of core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, Sites & Services, and DFS
• Cloud computing experience (Azure, AWS, etc)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Strong customer service orientation
