Our client, a large publicly traded, industry leading manufacturing organization located near Philadelphia, PA is looking to add a Senior Tax Analyst to the team.

In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Reviewing/Responsible for tax related matters including tax provisions/external reporting, compliance, audits and regulatory proceedings.
  • Responsible for identifying and implanting key tax saving and/or process improvements.
  • Responsible for all income tax related requests in the region's regulatory proceedings
  • Managing all the income tax related projects/functions to ensure timely filing of the tax returns, financial statements and the state rate cases.
  • Accomplish team member results by communicating job expectation; planning, monitoring performance; couching and promoting trainings.
  • Prepare/Review monthly, quarterly and annual Income Tax Provisions and Tax notes to the financial statements for the region.
  • Prepare/Review U.S. federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
  • Prepare/Review quarterly reconciliations for taxes payable and deferred tax.
  • Respond to federal and state audit requests.
  • Perform research in various income tax related subjects and summarize findings for review
  • Responsible for implement changes to Tax Department processes to standardize procedures, increase tax efficiencies and add value of existing process.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely filing of the regional regulatory proceedings
  • Responsible for all the income tax related subjects for the assigned regions
  • Responsible for managing and developing team members
  • Assisting the manager in the designated function (compliance, accounting, plant planning and regulatory proceeding) to ensure timely filings and accurate results

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with US Tax (Federal and State)
  • Experience with a top tier Public Accounting firm.
  • CPA a plus but not required.
