The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge on building custom applications within ServiceNow platform and automate an application using Workflow, Document feeds, emails, Scheduled execution and events. Customize ServiceNow portal and good understanding of ServiceNow development framework both Server side and Client side. Prior experience with integration with external data sources and manage applications, including migration, installing, downloading etc.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years' experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ITBM/ITSM applications
  • 3+ years' experience in ServiceNow development - experience should include scripting, tool configuration, design work, technical configuration, and deployment
  • Understanding of Project Management, Resource Management, Agile, Dev/Ops market and related business processes
  • Understanding of the various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project delivery
  • Expertise in writing Java code and working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with SOA technologies including as REST, SOAP
  • Expertise with HTML technologies including HTML, CSS and AJAX practices.
  • Experience in coding, object-oriented and modularized software.
  • Expertise in unit and integration test automation.
  • Familiarity with Unix shell and source control systems and tools such as git, maven and ant.
  • Demonstrated success completing complex projects, on time
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, goals and deadlines driven environment

Plus:


  • Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow's application platform or similar technology
  • Experience on an Agile Development or Scrum team
  • Experience in designing, developing, scalable and distributed system.
