Senior Accountant - Sr. Accountant - Inventory - Reconciliation - Month-End Close

A mid-sized manufacturer in Southeast LA is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant due to internal expansion. Reporting to a Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for month-end close, account reconciliations, management reporting, and inventory accounting. The Senior Accountant candidate must be detail-oriented, be able to work with minimal supervision, and have great interpersonal skills. Does this sound like you or someone you know? What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Must have strong exposure to inventory accounting
• Strong in US GAAP
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• Month-end close
• Work with multiple systems and company ERP for inventory management and reporting
• Assist with CapEx budget and reporting
• Participate in financial audit and tax returns for year-end while working with external auditors
• Assist with system implementation
• Ad hoc analysis
