A manufacturer near DTLA is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team due to an internal promotion. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 6+ years of GL accounting experience
• Advanced Excel
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• CPA Candidate or license (or on the path!)

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• Assist with month-end close process- prepare and review month end journal entries and financial statements
• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Prepare materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Be proactive in identifying process improvements and efficiencies
• Document and update policies and procedures.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests as assigned
• Assist with year-end audit and annual valuation
• Gather supporting documentation, prepare schedules and respond to inquiries from independent accountants during year-end audit
