This is an IT heavy Sr. BA role. This resource will need to have strong technical knowledge. The ideal candidate has experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Must be analytical, have solid documentation skills, and experience with process engineering (Visio).

Acts as the primary consultant between various business units in order to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. This is an IT heavy Sr. BA role.

  • Uses advanced knowledge of company technology and business processes to identify opportunities to further leverage the technology within the business.
  • Define, implement, and provide business analysis for existing and emerging technology, including requirement gathering and technical design documentation as well as support business, process mapping and management, and other related activities.
  • Develop and solicit approval of SDLC documentation, and act as the subject matter expert for business partners on SDLC process.
  • Participates in the development and management of project plans related to the application development initiatives.
  • Provide platform and consulting support for IT Systems and business customers across multiple IT platforms and domains.
  • Reviews team's requirements, specifications, test documentation, implementation, support, training and maintenance plans to ensure they are in line with business objectives on projects.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for system applications and have a detailed understanding of application functionality, system design and file structures.
  • Use IT knowledge and PC software application skills to complete detailed design specifications for development teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal / external customers
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures used by the Business Analyst team.
  • Develop and solicit approval of SDLC documentation, and educates business partners on SDLC process.
  • Educate project team on the impact of proposed changes while managing the change control process.
  • Proactively identify and make recommendations to process improvements.
