As a Staff Accountant, you will play an integral role in accurately preparing our client's accounting records and performance. You will be responsible for a variety of general accounting functions as well as providing accounting support for senior staff if needed.

Staff Accountant responsibilities:

  • Assist the Controller in preparing monthly financial statements
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
  • Responsible for daily/monthly bank reconciliations
  • Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and general ledger entries
  • Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules
  • Ensuring all accounting practices are in compliance with legal guidelines and established accounting principles
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Possess personal characteristics such as positive attitude, open-mindedness, willingness to learn and grow, highly motivated, determined, and is a team player and execution specialist
  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Collaboration and teamwork skills
