Position Description:

As a System Engineer on the Desktop Engineering Team, you will be responsible for engineering and daily administration of the bank's desktop infrastructure with a primary focus on Vulnerability Remediation. You will be involved in the development of end user computing strategies, evaluate emerging technology and exploring ways to automate where possible to improve the end user experience.

Work duties include:

* Evaluating emerging end user hardware (Desktop, Laptops, Tablets, etc).
* Creating technical standards for End User Computing.
* Deploying Windows 10, IE-11, Edge and Google Chrome configuration & management.
* Automating desktop processes, managing desktop group policy, troubleshooting escalated complex end user issues.
* Remediating desktop vulnerabilities.

Position Requirements:

Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years work experience as a desktop systems engineer in an enterprise data center environment. -Or- High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years work experience as a desktop systems engineer in an enterprise data center environment.
Additional Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years of advanced End User Computing experience; including experience with deploying Windows 10, AD User and Group Policy Management, Automation via scripting (PowerShell & VBScript).
* A minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Products & Services including Office 2016, O365, Azure, BitLocker.
* Experience with automation via scripting (PowerShell & VBScript).
* Experience with Vulnerability Remediation.

Preferred Qualifications:

A+ Certification ,MCP, MCSE, CCNA, IBM (Tivoli) Certified Deployment Professional, and Scripting Languages.
Associates degree or higher in Computer Science.
Banking/financial services industry experience.
