Vaco Atlanta is proud to partner with an impressive healthcare company in Sandy Springs to find a Talent Acquisition Manager on a DIRECT HIRE basis. Only candidates who live in the Atlanta metropolitan area will be considered.

Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for developing strategies to meet the recruiting needs of the company. This individual will be responsible for finding innovative ways to streamline the hiring experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilize various recruitment tools and methods to source candidates, especially in the fields of Opthalmology and Optometrics.
  • Execute the recruiting process, develop search strategies, source internal and external databases (including but not limited to proactive networking, cold calling, resume mining, database searching etc.), review resumes and prescreen candidates to assess that applicants meet position requirements and to identify qualified candidates
  • Build and maintain a database of qualified candidates
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to include updating records, status changes, edit templates, edit personnel information, and create/print reports

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Social Sciences is preferred.
  • 3+ years of Physician or Executive level recruitment experience required.
  • 3+ years of recruitment using an ATS system (especially iCIMS) preferred.
  • Demonstrated initiative (self-motivated/self-starter).
  • Detail-oriented, demonstrated initiative and ability to thrive in a high-performance team environment.
  • Ability to exhibit a highly professional demeanor, poise and grace under pressure
