Job Description

The Transactions Accounting Manager will work closely with the Assistant Controller of a high growth company here in town. The ideal candidate is someone who has the ability to lead, develop, and grow the team as well as identify new ways for process improvements. To be successful in this role, you will need to be personable, team-oriented, and a strong communicator as well as have a high attention to detail and desire for accuracy. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a strong accounting acumen and the ability to lead and grow.

You will be responsible for overseeing the company's billing and invoicing, providing support to both internal accounting staff and external vendors, and overseeing general ledger activity as well as maintaining billing software and technology. As a Manager, you will ensure that all incoming and outgoing money is accounted for and that reimbursements are handled accurately and supported through internal controls. In this role, you will also track key performance indicators (KPI's) to drive efficiencies.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of experience within accounting, managerial experience is a plus
  • Effective communication skills and ability to lead a successful team
  • Experience giving feedback on process and procedures, experience creating new processes is a plus
  • Ability to solve complex problems and create viable solutions
  • Desire to be a part of a fast-paced and high-growth environment
  • Strong Excel skills, Concur experience is a plus
