VP/Controller in Los Angeles, CA at Vaco

Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

• Direct accounting and finance operations of multiple investment funds
• Manage large accounting team including GL, AP, AR, Payroll, and Cash
• Review and ensure the accuracy of monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Oversee the review and preparation of investor capital call/distribution allocations and notices
• Review budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis versus actuals on a monthly basis
• Manage tax compliance (federal, state, and foreign)
• Continuous assessment and development of internal controls
• Oversee year-end audits and ensure the timeliness of deliverables
• Implement policies and process improvements
