About the Company 
Our client is a large precious metals refinery. They are looking for a Senior Accountant who will be responsible for Financial Reporting, and related Accounting duties.

About the Opportunity 
  • Prepare trading related accounting journal entries, reconciliation, reporting & analysis.
  • Prepare journal entries according to Financial Instruments (IFRS 9) and Revenue from Contracts with Customers (IFRS 15)
  • Prepare internal and external financial statements and note disclosures.
  • Perform consolidation and elimination for Asahi Refining North America.
  • Able to perform technical accounting research and write accounting memos.
  • In-depth understanding of metal accounting and metal balance sheet.
  • Enhance internal controls, process documentation, automation, and standardization.
  • Assist in interim and year-end audit.
  • Assist in completing annual transfer pricing reports.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks and analysis as required.
About You 
  • CPA Designated or awaiting paperwork on designation
  • 3 Years of Public Accounting experience or Public and Private Accounting within a Multi-National company, preferably within the Manufacturing/ Mining sector
  • IFRS Experience, preferably with 9 and/or 15
  • Experience in Technical Accounting and writing Accounting Memos

Salary Range 
$90,000 - $100,000/year
