About the Opportunity
  • Operational Reporting
    • Support the Senior Operational Reporting Analyst and VP and Property Controller:
      • Review monthly/quarterly submissions from global regions to identify issues, summarize and consolidate results.
      • Support preparation of quarterly regional board packages and relevant MD&A disclosures.
      • Lead and coordinate the annual global property budgeting process, training, and reporting.
    • Support Corporate Accounting
      • Support setting up of Legal Entity and properties in Yardi.
      • Assist with internal controls audit and documentation of controls related to the Yardi environment.
      • Assist with ad hoc report requests.
    • Support Regional Corporate and Property Accounting with one-off reporting, including:
      • Statutory Operational reporting (MPAC, AIF, MIC etc.)
      • Leasing Activity reporting
      • Any other special and periodic reporting
  • Yardi Controllership Support
    • Support Yardi user account setup, deactivation and menu, permissions, and user security matrix.
    • Field requests for Yardi GL accounts and support management of the Chart of Accounts
    • Support creation of new legal entities and properties
    • Field, and appropriately re-direct, requests for workflow or process changes
    • Troubleshoot regional Yardi operational process issues as they arise.
    • Assist with implementations of new modules (FX translation, intercompany, consolidation, business intelligence)
    • Coordinate with IT to field requests for new reports
    • Support the Senior Operational Reporting Analyst to review existing regional reports to:
      • Delete redundant reports.
      • Update specs on existing reports to facilitate running in Yardi 7
      • Standardize reports across regions.
About You
  • Designated CMA/CPA/CGA or in process.
  • 3-4 years of Commercial Real Estate Accounting Experience in either Property or Corporate accounting roles.
  • 2-3 years of extensive Yardi Voyager 7S user experience.
  • Fluent in MS Office applications with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven advanced Excel experience.
  • Fluent in creating and modifying presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Proven organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • Relationship builder with proven work ethic.
  • Ability to exercise flexibility and judgement in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form with team members at all levels within the global organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment on larger projects or independently.
