Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Birmingham, AL (On-site)
Salary: $45,000 - $53,000 annually

About Us:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Accounts Payable Specialist to contribute to the efficient processing of our client’s dynamic finance team. If you have at least one year of experience, Excel proficiency, and excellent attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.

  • Invoice Processing: Efficiently process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Payment Processing: Facilitate the timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Excel Utilization: Leverage Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; candidates may be subject to a typing test.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
