Job Description

Vaco is currently recruiting for an exciting Insurance Account Manager position in Tampa for a fantastic client! This is a direct hire role paying between $60,000 and $70,000 based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of brokerage experience and a Bachelor's Degree.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate industry knowledge; current insight of market, products and carrier competitiveness
  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and Advisors to provide quality service
  • Handle complex accounts
  • Conduct Open Enrollment meetings
  • Independently manage the marketing submission process, secure information to effectively market to all carrier partners, prepare all renewal submissions for marketing, request data from carriers, review proposals and complete benefit and rate comparisons; proposal completion and presentation
  • Manage client onboarding process
  • Assist with eligibility management
  • Fluency with Agency Management systems

  • Demonstrate ability to provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with client contacts
