Account Executive - Inventory Acquisition

Location: West Des Moines, IA


Summary:

As a Sales Account Executive, you will be part of the team that evangelizes our company's services to MDU (multi-dwelling apartments & condos) and commercial owners/developers. You will proactively reach out and articulate how our company's solutions can help make their work more productive. (And then, you seal the deal!) You will excel at product pitching, cultivating a strong base of new clients and working with fellow technical members of the team to devise solutions to meet your client's needs. Exciting business aiming to deploy next generation, gigabit Internet speeds to the home.

Responsibilities

  • Cold call prospective clients from assigned lead pool

  • Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits to prospective MDU owners, property management companies, and SMB owners

  • Negotiate contractual language and terms

  • Conduct face to face presentations

  • Close contractual agreements, set and achieve quarterly sales quotas

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, conferences, reporting on activity and offering creative sales closing strategies

  • Implement the strategy for approaching the differing markets and for long-term sustained success

  • Manage handoff of closed deals to construction



Qualifications:

  • BA or BS Degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant work experience)

  • 4 years of sales experience

  • 2 years of lead generation/telemarketing experience, ideally, within a high-tech company.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills

  • Ability to deliver results under pressure

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience selling FTTH and/or telecommunication services to MDU owners/property management companies and small to medium businesses with existing MDU relationships

  • Salesforce experience
