Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a client located in South Indianapolis to fill a full time Account Manager/Customer Service Representative position.

This position is in the Customer Service Department and reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Essential Functions:
* Customer service via telephone and/or in person
* Entering customer orders
* Quoting customer pricing, both verbally and via computer systems
* Expediting customer orders and direct purchase orders when required by the customer
* Negotiating pricing with customers and vendors
* Interaction with outside sales personnel
* Interaction with vendor representatives
* Assisting with bid package preparation (MS Excel)
* Ability to make quick decisions
* Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager

Education/Experience:
* High school diploma - some college preferred.
* Experience in fast-paced environment.
* 1-2 years os customer service experience (B2B) required.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time.
* Computer knowledge, in a windows system with proficiency in Word and Excel.
* Tooling knowledge preferred.
