Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located South Indianapolis to fill an Account Manager role.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Essential Functions:
* Customer contact via telephone and/or in person.
* Entering customer orders.
* Quoting customer pricing, both verbally and via computer systems.
* Expediting customer orders and direct purchase orders when required by the customer.
* Negotiating pricing with customers and vendors.
* Interaction with outside sales personnel.
* Interaction with vendor representatives.
* Assisting with bid package preparation (Excel).
* Ability to make quick decisions.
* Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager.

Education/Experience:
* High school diploma - some college preferred.
* Experience in fast-paced environment.
* 1-2 years os customer service experience (B2B) required.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time.
* Computer knowledge, in a windows system with proficiency in Word and Excel.
