Job Description

Vaco Staffing is in the market for an Account Representative to assist in sales, marketing, and servicing clients for an insurance agency in Memphis. In this role the ideal candidate will: maintain licenses, contact current and prospective clients, utilize agency application, accurately prepare forms, follow up with customers and participate in team meetings.


  • Maintain licenses -service and products
  • Contact current and prospective clients to build relationships and conduct needs-based discussion
  • Utilize agency computer applications, as required and available
  • Accurately prepare forms, policies, endorsements when required
  • Follow up with customers and keep the agent informed
  • Provide prompt, professional customer service
  • Participate in training and team meetings as requested


  • Ability to satisfy insurance licensing requirements and learn to apply product, industry and market knowledge to provide suitable recommendations to potential and existing clients
  • Conduct needs-based marketing interviews with potential and existing clients
  • Effectively relate to customers within a sales and service environment
  • Take initiative and act effectively both individually and as a member of a team without direction
  • Create and maintain professional business relationships with prospects, policyholders, co-workers, and associates within the organization
  • Be able to adapt to changing market conditions and a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain strong organizational skills

Job-Related Training Courses, Licensing, and Programs

  • Complete and maintain all state, federal and company requirements - - including licensing - to solicit and service designated products and services
  • Remain current in all product changes and technical developments, and participate in company and industry training sessions as required
  • Complete training as required, including Compliance; Information Security Awareness; and Sales Training.
  • Remain current in all Continuing Education (CE) courses as required
