Job Description


MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all monthly closing functions in accordance with company timeline
  • Manage G/L Accounting
  • Responsible for the monthly and yearly closings of G/L
  • Review monthly close work, support to ensure accuracy of the close process
  • Responsible for coordinating quarterly auditor reviews and year-end audit processes
  • Interface with all Finance and Operations areas to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data flow
  • Prepare monthly management reports, prepare ad hoc analysis as needed
  • Preparation and review of all analytical submissions for Management
  • Maintain a solid understanding of ERP system as it relates to G/L & A/P
  • Assist in the overall implementation of SAP
  • Assist with preparation of various monthly reports and analysis

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE TO DO THE JOB:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • Two to four years accounting experience, two + years public accounting experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley required
  • Thorough understanding of all phases of Accounting
  • Good computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel including pivot table and v-lookups
