Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is seeking an Accountant / Reporting Analyst (payroll) for a successful client of ours in Roswell. In this role you will be responsible for accounting and treasury functions, as well as operational. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
  • Responsible for the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Provide insights into the movements in the P&L and balance sheet versus prior periods and budgets
  • Perform variance analysis, expense analysis, and premium audits
  • Assist in the completion of the year-end statutory accounts and actively participate in the annual audit
  • Manage the monthly payroll reporting process
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure processes are aligned throughout the group
  • Support the monthly and quarterly state reporting process. Prepare and collaborate with internal teams to facilitate monthly reporting to regulators
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports according to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and regulatory requirements
  • Interacting, collaborating and communicating with both the compliance team and Regulators to ensure all licencing requirements are adhered to
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of departments across the organization;
  • Participating in the development and deployment of end-to-end automated processes within both the finance and reporting team
  • Ad hoc requests for financial information from both internal teams as well as third parties
  • Work on other projects as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to: a bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance and five years of experience working in professional level accounting.
