Our client, located near Montclair, NJ is adding an Accounting and Auditing Manager to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Knowledge of business related issues including forms of organizational structure, business agreements, financing, insurance, and performance assessment to be able to reply to client questions
  • Utilizing advanced level of accounting skills including analysis of complex accounts and account relationships, knowledge of accounting and auditing pronouncements, and be able to prepare complex financial statements, including cash flow statement and footnote disclosures.
  • Ability to audit high risk components of an audit engagement and design audit programs relevant to the engagement risks
  • General knowledge of tax laws and ability to prepare moderate level tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations

Requirements for the position include:

  • 5+ years of public accounting and Audit experience
  • 5+ years Audit experience
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting
  • CPA license preferred*
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other accounting, auditing and tax softwares.
