Job Overview:
The Accounting and Human Resources Manager will manage a variety of activities including budgeting, payroll, financial analysis, accounting, billing, collections, and oversees the preparation of tax returns. Prepares annual reports and long-term projections to insure the organizations financial obligations are met. Manages all corporate Human Resources functions including but not limited to (1) benefits, (2) worker compensation, (3) retirement plan, (4) payroll, and (5) personnel management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepares and submits all payrolls through ADP.
  • Performs all bookkeeping functions. /
  • Records all revenues and expenses in Quickbooks and assigns to correct GLAC.
    • Analyzes all financial records to insure compliance with GAAP, budget and government rules. Coordinates with corporate accountant as required.
    • Prepares annual budget, calculate variances between budget and actual; identify reasons

for variances, and recommend corrections.

  • Manages all service contracts, insuring contracts are followed, BAA's are on file and current, financial documentation is filed and within costs.
  • Develops all accounting and HR policies within the corporation.
    • Manages all aspects of the corporations' human resource functions to include insurances, retirement plan, personnel manual, workers compensation, and others as required.
      • Manages corporate benefits.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma.
    • At least five years experience in accounting and human resources.
    • Expertise with Quickbooks.
    • Expertise with Excel.
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
      • Ability to think logically.
      • Ability to work well with others.
