Vaco Atlanta Staffing has been hired to find a great Part Time professional for a client of ours in Peachtree Corners (Norcross). We are looking for an Accounting Assistant with experience in A/R, A/P and QuickBooks. This role is slated at 20 hours per week and our client affords flexibility for the right candidate. Importantly, the candidate must want part-time work to be considered.

Our client is a family friendly company where the management team is fantastic and believes in work life balance. This is a long term contract assignment that may turn permanent after 6 months depending on performance.

Requirements

2 or more-year college degree AND / OR at least 1 year of experience in administrative or accounting support activities
Experienced in basic accounting activities (invoice data entry, accounts payable and receivable).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Very proficient in using a personal computer, with excellent typing skills. Intermediate level MS Excel skills are required for the Accounting role and experience with QuickBooks is also needed.
Strong attention to detail - there will be a good amount of keying
Experience as an Accounts Payable clerk including full cycle (end to end) accounts payable
Experience with three way matching when processing accounts payable (manufacturing AP and experience with POs is important)
Very proficient in using the following computer software: Microsoft Office Word and Excel; QuickBooks
Excellent organizational skills
