Job Description

Vaco Richmond is working with a client located near Glen Allen, VA who is seeking an Accountant for a entry-level position with their growing staff. In this role, the accountant will be responsible for creating client billing and assisting with accounts payable as it relates to the corporate credit cards, expense reports, and concur administration of users.

Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Monthly production of accurate and complete client billing support files
  • Interacting with the Operations group to ensure exceptional quality invoices in terms of:
  • Developing, implementing and managing an invoicing exception process that accounts for items not specified by existing Statements of Work
  • Production and sending of invoices
  • Reconciling corporate credit card statements against their respective expense reports
  • Processing reimbursable expense reports via Concur
  • Handle other duties, as needed

Required Skills:

  • 1+ year of Accounting experience
  • Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Experience with basic Accounting functions
  • Microsoft Excel Proficient
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
