Accounting Coordinator - Entry Level

A rapidly growing company headquartered in Richmond, VA is in search of a recent college graduates to provide clerical accounting support to the accounting team and Controller.

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

* Experience/Internship with accounts payable and general office accounting

* MS Excel & QuickBooks proficiency

* Strong analytical and organizational skills

* Ability to multi-task and to effectively handle time-sensitive matters

Responsibilities:

* Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

* Process 2 and 3-way P.O. matching invoices

* Respond to all vendor inquiries

* Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies

* Prepare accounting transactions and documents

* Audit and process credit card bills

* Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly

* 1099 maintenance

* Document and update procedures
