A Westside startup is adding an Accounting Manager to their team due to tremendous growth. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will oversee a staff of 3 and will be responsible for leading and managing through a GL month-end close. What do you need for this Accounting Manager position?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 8+ years of accounting experience
• Public/private accounting background OR
• Active CPA
• Must have experience working in a publicly traded company
• Supervisory experience
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?

• Maintain the general ledger
• Review journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with operational accounting and payroll when needed
• Ad-hoc analysis and assist with special projects
• Support internal controls and policies in compliance with US GAAP
• Oversee month-end close
• Supervise a staff of 2-3
