A large public manufacturer in the Valley is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for plant accounting, month-end close, reporting, inventory forecasting, cost accounting, and PPV. What do you need for this Accounting Manager position?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA is nice but not necessary
• 15+ years of accounting experience
• Must have supervisory experience
• Must have inventory and/or cost accounting experience
• Experience using a large ERP or accounting system
  • BA/BS in Accounting with Master's or CPA preferred.

What will you do in this Accounting Manager position?

• Oversee, develop, and train accounting team
• Act as a SME to manufacturing staff for all accounting related items
• Account and variance analysis, forecasting, and review financial statements
• Perform calculations, PPV, and analyze overhead
• Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain SOX compliance
• Implement best practices
