Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing month-end close process and related deadlines
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly & year-end financial statements
  • Managing the accounting staff and reviewing their work
  • Assisting with the annual audit & budget
  • Managing payroll & 401k process
  • Assisting with filing of annual 990's returns


  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 3-4+ years related work including supervisory experience
  • Working experience with AR, AP, payroll, month-end, financial statements
  • Intermediate excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, etc)
  • Previous nonprofit experience a plus including grant accounting
  • Self-starter
