Job Description

One of Vaco's clients is seeking a new Accounting Manager to join their team! This is an immediate need for a growing company. Vaco will work to promote your strengths, give you great insight, and prepare you for your interview. This client has great benefits and little turnover.

As an Accounting Manager, you will direct financial activities such as planning, procurement, and investments for all parts of the organization. Experience with fund accounting is highly preferred.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Supervising employees performing financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties
  • Coordinating and directing the financial planning, budgeting, procurement, or investment activities of all or part of an organization
  • Developing internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting
  • Preparing or directing the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, or reports required by regulatory agencies

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, Master's preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • 10 years of consecutive experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Superior communication skills, particularly when working with stakeholders outside of finance

Job Requirements
