Accounting Manager (Real Estate Developer) - Our Client is seeking an experienced Accountant with CPA and real estate industry to take on the role of Accounting Manager. They are seeking someone with experience from both public accounting (ideally CPA) and real estate development related experience being familiar with project accounting, joint ventures, acquisitions, and investor reporting. This role will be involved with all things accounting, oversight of operational accounting, and financial reporting. It is a smaller, but up-and-coming company so the role would be expected to be hands-on. The position does have an outstanding mentor. The following is a list of requirements and job responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years related work experience.
• Public accounting and real estate accounting experience are required.
• Must have public accounting experience in audit, internal controls, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience in financial statement preparation.
• Excellent communication and ability to deliver results presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Financial statement preparation, analysis, and detailed monthly & quarterly reporting.
• Strong general ledger month end close for multiple entities.
• Prepare cash flow analysis, P&L forecasts & budgeting.
• Investor reporting and joint ventures, membership interest.
• Set and comply with internal controls, policies & procedures.
• Manage all banking relationships, and account & bank reconciliations.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience ideal.
