Accounting Manager with Sage and Construction Experience in Huntington Beach, CA at Vaco

Our fast-growing client in the Huntington Beach area is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to join their organization on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of accounting experience, recent Sage software and construction or fire protection industry experience.

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will apply your general ledger, month-end close and supervisory expertise to the oversight and management of a team. You will also provide clients with a full range of financial services.

Your areas of responsibility in this role will generally include:

• Managing month-end closing process
• Reviewing and preparing journal entries and reconciliations
• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and variances
• Implementing policies and procedures, including writing manuals
• Supervising staff
• Assist with completing a Sage software implementation

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Sage software experience
• Construction or fire protection industry experience
• Prior experience handling creating policies, procedures, and documentation for an accounting department.
