Senior Accounting Manager Dallas, TX Private Equity backed company is adding to their leadership team looking for a strong Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates will have their CPA, full operational accounting experience, multi-P&L and thrive in leading a team through mentorship and process improvement. Responsibilities: Oversee the entire GL, A/R and A/P team Management of multi-location, multi-P&L Identify and implement process improvements Ensure successful completion of month-end close, variance analysis and financial statements Lead and mentor accounting staff Assist with implementations Collaborate with Finance team to develop forecasts Assist with annual audits, tax audits Analyze account trends and review accounts for errors, completing adjustments when needed Complete monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting Perform other duties as required Qualifications: 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with large companies, including leadership experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA is a plus CPA highly preferred Major ERP system required, advanced Excel System implementation experience highly preferred Display ability to lead teams in multiple projects, meeting tight deadlines Analytical and problem solving skills Vaco provides expert consulting, permanent placement, executive search, managed services, and strategic staffing solutions for companies around the world, in the areas of accounting, finance, technology, healthcare, operations and more.
