Our client, a long standing and stable company, is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team due to an internal promotion. This position in particular is different as it works directly with the Executives of the company as well as manages special projects and the internal audit function. It is not your typical debits and credits accounting manager but one that will encompass a lot more with the opportunity to advance in time.

The Accounting Manager duties will include:

  • Oversight of monthly accounting and close procedures
  • Utilization of accounting systems and maintenance of reporting integrity
  • Develop monthly management reporting with related analytics and present findings to Executive Management
  • Evaluate business trends and advise management team
  • Lead all audit activities including reviewing controls and assessing current procedures
  • Work with the CEO, CFO, and Controller on miscellaneous projects as needed

The Accounting Manager requirements:

  • Bachelor's (BS) degree in Accounting
  • 4 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Ability to interact comfortably with Senior/Executive level management and Board Members
  • Ability to quickly assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal, written and presentation communication skills
