Job Description

Our client, who is well established and located in Hackensack, NJ, is adding a Accounting Manager to the team.

In this role the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • General Ledger
  • Labor tracking with Project Managers
  • Payroll processing/reviews
  • Budget preparation
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document transactions.
  • Record expenses
  • Post charges and apply cash to accounts
Requirements for the position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • 5+ years of corporate accounting experience at a small-mid size firm
  • Strong technical skills (Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks)
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
