Accounting Manager

Our growing client is looking for an Accounting professional in the Bucks County PA area. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of Accounting experience. I Ideal candidate will have a mix of private and public accounting and along with a progressive career and be very hands-on.

Requirements:

  • 4-year bachelors' in Accounting or Finance required
  • A mix of Public and Private Accounting
  • CPA REQUIRED
  • Candidate should have the ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and meet reporting deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong Financial Reporting, Month-end close, consolidations and technical accounting skills
  • Ability to take ownership, and succeed in a rapidly changing fast-paced environment
  • Capable to lead and mentor a small accounting team
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues
  • Hands on experience with SaaS and revenue recognition
  • Outstanding knowledge of InTacct ERP/ GL Systems required
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Big 4 or large regional accounting firm experience preferred
  • 2+ Years of Public Accounting Experience
  • 5-7 Years in Operating Role in the Accounting Department

Responsibilities:

  • Overall day-to-day management of Accounting team
  • Financial reporting and month end close in accordance with GAAP standards
  • Manage all transactional accounting including AR, AP, and Payroll Sort and store balance sheet and income statement transactions
  • Account and Bank Reconciliations
  • Work in concert internal C-Level and External Auditors
  • Responsible for, cash management reports, and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Coordinate and direct the development and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and projections
  • Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
  • Prepare State Sales & Use Taxes: quarterly; semi-annually; or annually
