Job Description

Are you a Accounting Manager with public and private experience? Vaco has an exciting role with a company in Goleta. From out of area? No problem - our client is willing to pay lodging fees. This is a 3-6 month contract with the possibility to go perm.

What you need for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong (5+ years) supervisory experience
  • CPA preferred
  • Blend of public/private company experience, Big 4 experience ideal
  • Oracle ERP experience
  • E-Commerce industry experience


  • Monitor and train staff.
  • Manage day-to-day processes of general accounting and month end closing functions (Balance Sheet, Balance Sheet Roll Forward, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows).
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure proper support for account reconciliations.
  • Manage financial reporting, consolidations, and supporting schedules
  • Implement and document policies and procedures
  • Analyze month end financials and variances to budget, forecasts and prior year.
