Job Description

Vaco Atlanta is excited to be recruiting for an Accounting Manager for our fast-growing client, a medical service provider, located in Sandy Springs, GA. Accounting Manager Responsibilities

  • Prepare all financial statements, reporting packages, and financial presentations for management team. Communicate with management team on findings and present results at monthly management meeting.
  • Use of Excel to manage data and prepare management reports and company analytics.
  • Supervise Accounting staff
  • Month end close - journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, expense analysis
  • Cash management and banking -ACH, wire approvals, and book transfer payments
  • Management of commission changes, rebates, and subsidy tracking
  • Commission statements - Monthly and quarterly preparation and tracking
  • Review month end financial statements
  • Budget to Actual analysis
  • Expense report approval and management oversight, including expense analysis
  • Finance/Accounting process review and documentation
  • Audit - Preliminary and annual audit - delegate PBC list and interface with auditors.
  • Liaison for accounting with Corporate Account
  • Fixed Assets -Track, add, dispose and reconcile in Asset Software.
  • Prepare annual 571L returns
  • Budget for all Concord\Sac business units - prepare and review with management
  • File excise return quarterly and annually
  • Surplus Lines -Reconcile and file annual report

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting management experience
  • CPA or CPA track preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MEC software experience a plus
  • QuickBooks Enterprise experience a plus
  • Advanced Excel
  • Ability to effectively present information to internal and external groups
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment
