Job Description

Our small but growing and stable client located in south part of Irvine Spectrum area is looking for an Accounting Manager.

It reports to a great CFO I have known for years and would be an excellent mentor.


The Accounting Manager is responsible for completing accounting, financial activities. Responsibilities and activities include:

  • Month, quarter and year end close
  • General ledger, month end close, Balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Sales & Use tax returns
  • Fixed Assets
  • Assist with inventory, COGS and cost accounting
  • Check runs
  • Payroll
  • Assist with annual and other audits
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in accounting, plus minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of GL accounting, financial statement preparation, accounting principles, standards, regulations, laws and practices
  • Manufacturing company experience is a plus.
  • QuickBooks experience a plus
