Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis has partnered with a company located West Indianapolis to fill an Accounts Payable Administrator.

Receive all incoming invoices, statement, credits and other correspondence from suppliers by e-mail or

snail mail.

Electronically file all documents.

Match invoices with purchase order, management approvals, and proof of delivery documents.

Communicate with suppliers and internal personnel to resolve mis-matches and disputes.

Enter invoices into accounting software with proper account and profit center coding.

Reconcile all supplier account statements for material purchases.

Manage payment terms, discounts, and rebates.

Provide data and explainations as required for internal and external audits.

Review and correct job costs.

Ability to manage within multi-company environment.

Basic accounting knowledge

Excel

Problem solving.

Computer skills (email, file management, keyboard)
