As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will compile data, compute fees and charges, and prepare invoices for billing purposes.

Additional responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include:

  • File unmatched receivers and invoices for future vouching.
  • Open AP mail and match invoices to PO/Receiver; enter invoice into QAD for payment. File vouched invoices.
  • Print checks weekly and match to invoices. Mail signed checks.
  • Identify payments to be made via ACH/Wire Transfer, enter on-line bank website and submit to Sr Director for approval.
  • Enter credit card activity in QAD.
  • Review AP batches for accuracy.


  • One (1) - two (2) years general accounting experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • JD Edwards experience highly desirable
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • 10 key by touch
  • Team player
