Job Description

Our client, located in North Indianapolis is looking for a Strong Accounts Payable Professional from construction industry and ideally with Viewpoint software experience (or SAGE).

The ideal candidate will :

* have knowledge of processing AP and understanding sales and use tax - differences between tax exempt jobs and ability to close them appropriately.

* have experience processing and recognizing material invoices versus P.O.s versus sub-contractor payouts.

* can research and track down missing and incorrect info.

This person processes roughly 1500 invoices per month.

*Have great client relations skills- this person interacts daily with both internal and external staff, subcontractors, etc.

* Excellent communicator and team player.

This AP role does not require a degree but does require:

  • Accounts Payable experience from a larger commercial construction company (not property management) preferably not home builder either
  • Candidate must be a self starter, professional, a problem solver - take initiative w/ software
