The Accounts Payable Manager will provide leadership and oversee the master data management, process compliance, defining, documenting and reviewing AP policies and procedures. This person will also be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, internal customers and business partners on process enhancement initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day activities of the accounts payable functions
* Supporting accounting cycle closes from a high of volume of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and explanation, to the production and review of financial statements
* Revenue Recognition Projects including sourcing, interpreting, and application of the guidance to current accounting processes and systems, gap analysis, and supporting the testing of the appropriate changes
* Provides technical expertise related to AP processes, systems and process controls, as well as initiating and leading projects associated with the same
* Sourcing relevant accounting guidance and interpreting the relevant application to the client's business
* Managing transformational initiatives such as end to end process re-engineering efforts in Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash or enterprise related system implementations or optimization projects

Job Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Minimum 6 years' accounts payable experience
* Excellent understanding of accounting, accounts payable and associated processes, policies and financial controls
* Supervisory experience preferred
* Demonstrable process re-engineering and improvement experience
* Experience with Oracle required
* Interact with all levels within the organization
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Independent and Collaborative Team Player
